Portugal and France level 0-0 at Euro 2024
Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe both start
Portugal and France played out a goalless draw in their Euro 2024 quarter-final in Hamburg on Friday, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe both starting the match.
The two sides had chances to win the game, but neither could find a breakthrough. Ronaldo had a great chance to score in the first half, but he headed wide from close range.
Mbappe also had a good chance to score in the second half, but he shot straight at the goalkeeper.
The draw means that Portugal and France will now face each other in a penalty shootout to decide who will reach the semi-finals.
Winners to play Spain for a place in the final
The winners of the penalty shootout will play Spain in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
Spain beat Switzerland 3-1 in their quarter-final on Thursday.
