Benfica fans paint the stands red and white in away win

Benfica fans travelled in their thousands to Estádio Municipal de Águeda on Saturday to support their team in a pre-season friendly.

The fans created a sea of red and white in the stands, and their passion and support helped Benfica to a 2-0 victory.

Benfica's goals were scored by Rafa Silva and Darwin Núñez, and the win was a good start to the team's pre-season preparations. Benfica will now face Barcelona in a friendly on Tuesday before beginning their league campaign on August 5.
