De Zerbi Compensation Figure Revealed
Brighton Hove Albion Demands £12m for Manager's Release
Former Shakhtar Head Coach on £15m Annual Salary
Roberto De Zerbi, former head coach of Brighton Hove Albion, could face a hefty compensation figure of £12m if he wishes to leave the club. The Italian manager, who was reportedly earning around £15m per year at his previous role at Shakhtar Donetsk, had a successful stint with Brighton, overseeing the club from September 2022 to May 2024.
Sources close to the club have indicated that Brighton would demand a significant fee in order to release De Zerbi, who recently signed a four-year contract with the Seagulls. The club is reportedly in a strong financial position and is unwilling to let their manager depart without a substantial compensation package.
