Pelicans Dominate Despite Morant's Effort
Despite a valiant effort from Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, who scored 12 points in the first half, the Pelicans were able to control the tempo of the game and maintain a comfortable lead throughout. CJ McCollum led the Pelicans with 24 points, while Zion Williamson added 23 points and seven rebounds.
The Grizzlies will look to bounce back from this loss when they face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. The Pelicans, meanwhile, will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
